How to select a male stud dog
I think these tips are extremely good ones !! The focus needs to be on improving the breed. Another good sorce to use would be AKC dog show exhibitors/breeders as they know the breed standard as their main focus is to achive correctness towards this breed standard along with breeding for optimum health and improving any health issues known to be in their breed. You could search the internet for such, being careful to be a true exhibitor/breeder not the ones that have just a champion as to be able to market their puppies for more money. To see a good example to compare would be for a yorkie breeders,
champion yorkie puppies. Even if they do not offer stud service, alway email and ask. But a web site similar as far as champions and currently showing the breed you are interested in is what to look for.
