According to the AKC, “The Siberian Husky was originated by the Chukchi People of North-eastern Asia as an endurance sled dog … The Chukchis required a sled dog capable of traveling great distances at a moderate speed, carrying a light load in low temperature with a minimum expenditure of energy. Shortly after 1900, Americans in Alaska began to hear accounts of this superior strain of sled dog in Siberia.”
The Husky was used as a sled dog in Alaska particularly during the gold rush days. The Husky is a working dog that is friendly, and very alert. They have a double coat and tolerate the cold very well.
Corgi Husky Mix – Physical Characteristics
The Corgi Husky Mix will generally be about 12 to 15 inches tall and will weigh approximately 30 to 50 pounds.
