Heat cycle in a spayed female
Has anyone heard of a spayed female still cycling? We adopted a Malamute from a shelter. She was listed as spayed and her belly had been shaved. I believe all they did was check for the scar but out our vet thinks she was spayed too.
We have had her for 5 years now, no puppies ever but, she really seems to cycle. Discharge and all. She is definatly an alpha female and only is good with young puppies and some male dogs. She is great with people and other animals as well. Don’t know what else to say other than she is a great girl!
