How old is too old to breed?
I am considering purchasing a golden retriever from a breeder. The bitch will be 7 years old this summer and this will be her 6th litter. The breeder is also mating another dog this summer who turned 3 in January and this will be her 3rd litter.

My questions are:
Is this breeder being responsible in the number of times he is breeding the dogs?
Is the 7 yr old bitch too old to be bred?
What is the max number of times one bitch should be bred?
