If you saw your dog bred, “tied” then you have puppies due in 63 days. Most pups are born within 5 days of a due date. At about 5 weeks you should be able to tell if your dog is plumping up. Pick her up, and feel her sides. If she is getting heavier, she’ll have pups. Dogs that only have 1 or 2 puppies may not look pregnant at all. Check her for breast enlargement or milk 2 weeks before the due date. Milk should be coming in for sure within a few days of birth

Don’t breed a dog that had Entropion eye lashes fixed. You know that he had a problem which had to be fixed by surgery. It is inheirted. Sometimes it takes a couple eye surgries. It can easily cost $1000. Puppy buyers could sue you for the price of the surgery, if they figured out you knew your dog had that condition. Plus the owner of a male dog gets blamed for anything that would happen. If you went ahead & bred the dog anyway, make sure you notify the owner of the dam. The litter owner should have all eyes fixed on the pups prior to sale.

That is not necessarily true that someone is hiding their facility. I allowed people to see all my dogs & pups for 26 years. Then the home owners insurance agent asked me if I sold puppies. My insurance was not renewed for failure to show proof of libility insurance for my dog business. Libility insurance was $2500/yr. That year I had a total of 10 people who picked their already purchased pups up at my home. The insurance company wanted to hold me hostage for $250 per pup !!!. No more insurance, no more people allowed near my adult dogs or kennel area. I still let them pick their puppies up here, but that may change in the near future related to the increasing number of animal rights activists that want to harrass breeders.

Put a complaint on RipOff Reports. It will stay there forever. Anytime someone does a search on a kennel name, it will come up on their search, & they will see your complaint.
