I have just acquired a standard poodle. I think he may be getting an ear infection. Does anyone have any advice or ideas of what I can do to help him to stay healthy after we clear up this one? Also, any other tips about poodles would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t know much about poodles but here’s some info on ear cleaning. I would try to clean your dog’s ears at least once a week with unfiltered apple cider vinegar (I use the BRAGG brand which you can get at any health food store). That will naturally help keep your dogs from ever getting ear infections. If your dog gets frequent ear infections, I would suggest changing your dogs food. You might also want to look into feeding your dog Nzymes:

Thanks for your information. I will pass it around to as many people as I can. I know a lot of people worry about ear infections. You seem to have a lot of knowledge about dogs. Please come back often and share what you know.
