you say there were so many red flags… If that is the case, why did you take the puppy home? I don’t know this breeder, but I believe that 50% of the culpability is on the buyer. If you didn’t do your homework BEFORE you purchased from her, that’s YOUR fault.

People should purchase puppies responsibly. If you buy responsibly, you shut down back yard breeders…

We just learned about cow tendons. My dog loves them, and they don’t have the same appearance or texture as rawhide. They do smell when you first take them out of their plastic wrap…

Some dogs don’t have their first cycle until they are 2. I am sure your dog is perfectly healthy, but if you are concerned, take her in. It will give you peace of mind, or maybe you will find something wrong. But at least you will know. Dogs “cycle” at different ages, just like people.

why do you want a litter of puppies?

Since the owner of the female would be doing 95% of the work, I doubt you will get more than a stud fee or maybe pick of the litter depending on the person you breed with. Looks like the best way for you to get a litter of puppies without having to buy a female is to buy a litter of puppies.

    Good luck!

    Your contract is horrible.

Also, you spelled warranty incorrectly on your website address, you may want to fix that.

Just because you might be afraid, doesn’t mean the whole world need eliminate an entire breed. So consider doing a little research before you throw something out there that isn’t necessarily true. Absolutes are not a good idea no matter what you are discussing.

Now, if you know this particular woman to be breeding her dogs to kill or fight, then power to ya! If not, lay off. She could be trying to better the breed.

    Good luck to you all!
