Your vet clearly gave you terrible advice. Any dog that is not neutered/spayed is capable of breeding. If you witnessed a tie, then your dog has a high likelihood of being pregnant. If not, then she may not even be pregnant. Without any prenatal care, your dog may be in serious danger. Please switch her to puppy food and supplements, such as a teaspoon of cottage cheese or a half boiled egg daily. Dogs begin to “really” show in the last 3 weeks of pregnancy.
Once she starts producing milk, she really needs to be supplemented calcium. Most dogs are allergic to cows milk, but plain nonfat yougurt and cottage cheese is okay in moderation.

To my knowledge all dogs are basically the same, with the differences being between small breeds versus large breeds. However, please think carefully before breeding a pit bull, as this breed in particular is often used for violence and abused. Very few pitbulls are raised the way they deserved to be. It is important to think carefully before breeding any dog, especially breeds such as pit bulls.

Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, really, but I do not think at all that a dog will feel humiliated by the color of their hair, for various reasons.

Dogs do not get embarrassed at all- humans are the only type of animals that become ashamed or humiliated.

If the dye is burning their skin, then the owner is either not using an appropriate dog dye, or they are not following directions, and if it burns dogs are able to express pain, at which point any responsible owner should wash it offf.

I agree that no kill shelters should be supported, but its kind of like saying people who do not have hairless breeds and spend money on dog clothes should not buy the clothes and instead donate it.

Also, you are right, dogs do not get to chose, but they also dont get to chose the type of dog food they eat, the color their leash and collar are, etc. when it comes to choices, what we should be concerned about is animal testing and slaughter.
