We babysat a dog for a friend and she had several accidents in our house. We are bringing home a new puppy (3 months old) in a couple days. Is there anything we can do to help our new dog realize that just because someone else did it, it doesn’t mean she can too…?

Bloodlines don’t get messed up by accidental breedings. However, you do need to have her tested for any possible diseases she may have picked up.
She is not guaranteed to get pregnant, but it is definitely possible.

Sometimes dogs can go through the motions of being pregnant, but not actually be pregnant! If you are worried that she has puppies in there, but is not delivering, take her to the vet. Dead puppies can be fatal if not evacuated.

There are many dog treat recipes you can use. However, we have had dogs FOREVER and we give them rawhide. We’ve never had a problem…
